Our history... April 1955 |
 Fifty
one years ago, on April 17, 1955, Days Painting Supplies opened
it’s doors for the first time. It was a pretty exciting day,
for the new store Manager Cam Pringle, who’s goal it was to
have “Everything for the Master Painter”.
Over the past 51 years Days Painting Supplies has
evolved, and has been on the leading edge of new products and services.
Current owner Bob Pringle, has continued in his fathers footsteps
in ensuring that they are on the leading edge of paint retailing,
with everything for the master painter, plus everything for the
do-it-yourselfer. The third generation of the Pringle family
is now working in the stores, who's pledge is to be the leading
retailer of paint & wallcovering's for many years into the future!
We are extremely grateful for the support our customers
have given us for over 54 years!

 Days
Painting Supplies, has been serving the greater Edmonton
area since 1955, as suppliers of quality paint and wallpaper products.
Our three locations serve the do-it-yourselfer, professional painting
contractors, as well as commercial and institutional facilities.
In addition to the full line of Benjamin Moore paints and stains,
our stores stock the Sikkens and Sansin lines of exterior wood finishes, the Chemcraft and Lenmar lines of stains and lacquers for the furniture, cabinet and millwork
industries, as well as Edmonton's largest selection of specialty
paint products and painting supplies.
 Our St.
Albert store opened in 1992 to better serve the residents
of St. Albert, from our location in the heart of the community.
Located on St Albert Trail, this location gives easy access to residents
of St. Albert and other communities to the north.
When looking for wallcoverings come in and view our extensive
library of wallpaper and borders from the leading wallcovering manufacturers.
We also have a wide selection of tools, inspiration and information
for Faux Finishing. Ask about our Colour Tester program when choosing
just the right paint color for your project.
Still having trouble picking just the right colours? Enquire about
our economical in-home colour consultation and design service,
where our Interior Design Technologist will visit your home and
help you select the colours and finishes.
Our spray equipment department, at our central Edmonton location
sells, services and rents spray equipment from leading manufacturers
such as Graco, Binks, Hero, Airlessco, ASM and Allpro. From air brushes to industrial spray booths,
Days has your spray equipment needs covered.
Our friendly and knowledgeable sales consultants are trained to
assist you with colour and product selection and advice to help
you get the job done right the first time. |

Sikkens |
 In 1792 house painter Wiert Willem Sikkens
started the production of Sikkens lacquers in the Netherlands. Over the past two hundred years the Sikkens
Cetol and Rubbol lines of exterior wood finishes have evolved to became
a synonym for quality and craftsmanship, and are simply beautiful
wood finishes.
